Eastern Terminus:	At AL 69 west of Jasper, AL

Former Western Terminus

This photos shows what was then eastbound US 78 at AL 124's western terminus, east of Carbon Hill.  Since then, the Corridor X freeway has been completed around Carbon Hill, what was US 78 through Carbon Hill became AL 118, and AL 124's western terminus shifted to a new intersection further east (beyond the construction signs in the far background).  Photo by Adam Froehlig, taken in 2000.
