AL 194 is a former connector route that existed along Meaher St in Prichard, between US 43/Telegraph Rd and then-ALT US 43 along Wilson Ave. First appearing on the 1955-56 state map, it was finally decommissioned ca. 1982, around the same time that ALT US 43 was dropped.
Western Terminus
The intersection where the western terminus existed has since been eliminated as part of the construction of I-165. This photo marks where Meaher St was turned to the right after construction. Photo by Alex Nitzman, taken April 17, 2002. | |
