U.S. Highway 36 in Ohio

These photos were taken on the 2004 summer vacation from various locations along westbound US 36 in Ohio.  All photos were taken by the webmaster on June 17, 2004.

Westbound on the freeway bypass of Uhrichsville, OH.  US 36 begins halfway around the bypass where US 250 splits off towards New Philadelphia, OH.
This is the first westbound US 36 reassurance shield after the route begins at US 250.
An overhead truss bridge along the route somewhere near Gnadenhutten.  The brown truss to the left is for a parallel railroad route that might be abandoned now.
OH 83 joins US 36 for a brief duplex near Coshocton.
US 36 turns off of the 4-lane road around Coshocton here.  OH 83 continues straight ahead, along with the westbound beginning of OH 16.
OH 229 splits off from westbound US 36 west of Newcastle.
This isn't actually US 62.  What happens is US 36 is bridged over US 62 in Millwood, and Bridge St is used as an access road between the two routes.
