Burnsville, MN to Columbus, MN via St. Paul

Background:

This is my fantasy upgrade of I-35E through the St. Paul side of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

I-35E isn't in as dire need of upgrades as it's Minneapolis counterpart, nor are there as many cancelled freeways that would have intersected it.  That said, most of the route north of I-494 needs additional lanes, and my fantasy version includes a 6-lane, 55 MPH freeway along the existing "parkway" section.  Lastly, county route shields are included at those locations lacking them in real life.

Basic Roadway Configuration:

• 4-lane freeway with occasional auxiliary lanes from I-35/I-35E to MN 77.
• 6-lane freeway from MN 77 to Dakota CSAH 31.
• 8-lane freeway from Dakota CSAH 31 to I-494.
• 6-lane freeway with occasional auxiliary lanes from I-494 to MN 5 WEST.
• 10-lane freeway from MN 5 WEST to Fantasy MN 51.
• 6-lane freeway from Fantasy MN 51 to I-94 WEST.
• 12-lane freeway along I-35E/I-94 duplex.
• 10-lane freeway with occasional auxiliary lanes from I-94 EAST to Fantasy US 61 NORTH.
• 8-lane freeway with occasional auxiliary lanes from Fantasy US 61 NORTH to I-694/US 10 WEST.
• 12-lane freeway along I-35E/I-694 duplex.
• 8-lane freeway from I-694 EAST to Ramsey CSAH 96.
• 6-lane freeway from Ramsey CSAH 96 to I-35/I-35E.
