Slidell, LA Photos

The following photos were taken by me on September 20, 2005, just over 3 weeks after Katrina hit. The area was a housing subdivision east of I-10 and between Shortcut Hwy (BUS US 190) and Old Spanish Trail (LA 433). The photos were taken as part of a trip to help my supervisor clear her house out, and the house-specific photos are from her house. The waterline is quite evident in some of the photos, and in one photo we measured the height at just under 4'9". Understandably, the carpet was very wet and muddy as we ripped it up and took it out of the house.
