Looking at Lookout Mountain from westbound I-24 south of downtown Chattanooga
This set of pictures is from a trip I took to the Chattanooga area, and the top of Lookout Mountain, during Fourth of July weekend of 1999. All of these pictures are looking out from the top or near the top.
Looking southwest Very hazy, but Alabama is visible in the far background.
Looking north An interesting bend that the Tennessee River takes.
Looking northeast Towards downtown Chattanooga. The large I-24/US 27 interchange is barely visible just south of downtown.
Looking southeast Parts of northern Georgia are visible on the right-hand side of the pic.
