Southbound Virtual Cruise

This page, with images courtesy of Kurumi's Signmaker, provides a "virtual cruise" of the guide signage along my VA 225 fictional freeway.  Images begin at the top, and progress southbound as one goes down the page.  Notes and annotations will be below an image, as appropriate.  For simplicity, not all signs that could theoretically exist will be shown below.

The Cruise:

Starting south after turning from US 60/Shore Dr.  The first interchange is a cloverleaf at US 13.

The next southbound interchanges along Fictional VA 225 would be SPUIs at Haygood Rd/Wishart Rd and VA 190/Pembroke Blvd.

Southbound Fictional VA 225 would start as 2 lanes, pick up a 3rd lane at US 13, then a 4th auxiliary lane from VA 190.  The I-264 exit would begin the southbound C/D road between US 58 and Holland Rd.

This point begins the southbound C/D road, with direct ramps to/from I-264 then become at-grade south of I-264.

This exit would exit onto the C/D road, which would end at Edwin Dr with a split going to Holland Rd and a ramp merging back to SB VA 225.

A partial interchange would exist at South Plaza Trail, with NB-NB and SB-SB access on each road.

Fictional VA 225 would end at a complex interchange with VA 165 and VA 407.  The fictional freeway would continue south as VA 165 South towards the Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
