Southern Terminus

MN 254's current end (it extended to the Iowa border until the late 1980s) ends at CSAH 17/CSAH 55 at the town of Frost.  Note the old style county shields with the end shield assembly.  Frost is named for Charles Frost, the Chicago architect, not the weather condition.  The railroad line visible in the above photograph is that of the Union Pacific.  Photo by Monte Castleman, taken April, 2002.

END signage just north of the interchange with I-90.  Note that MN 254 transitions into CSAH 17 at both of its termini.  Photo by Monte Castleman, taken April, 2002.
