I-555 is a number that has been tossed about for the freeway section of US 63 between I-55 and Jonesboro.  It was recently disapproved by AASHTO, likely because the I-55 to Marked Tree section still has at-grade crossings.  This same section is a Congressionally designated "High Priority Corridor", and so will likely see improvements and possibly an upgrade to full freeway.  I suspect that AHTD will petition AASHTO to number it I-555 after this happens.

I take it one step further and extend the freeway from Jonesboro northwest to the proposed US 67 freeway near Walnut Ridge, which I have fictionally designated I-53.
